Mark Siddoway

Before joining Cynosure, Mark Siddoway was the Head of Client Relations for Grandeur Peak Global Advisors, a Salt Lake City-based mutual fund company, from 2011 to 2022.  Prior to Grandeur Peak, Mark was the Director of Public Markets Investments at Lehigh University, where he was responsible for investing roughly 80% of Lehigh’s endowment funds.

Prior to his role at Lehigh University, Mark spent five years as the Deputy CIO of Utah Retirement Systems (URS), the retirement plan for public employees in the state of Utah. His additional industry experience includes roles as a fixed income portfolio manager at Sentry Insurance and as a credit analyst at Beneficial Life Insurance.

Mark graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Music (1990) and a MBA (1997), where he won the Stoddard Prize as the top finance student. Mark holds both the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designations.

Mark is a lover of the arts, film, and especially music. In fact, Mark’s first career was as an independent recording engineer, before he returned to business school and moved into finance.  Having lived in France for two years, Mark speaks French and loves international travel, especially to France. Mark and his wife Nancy have six children and two grandsons.
